I got Aaron set up with his loaner laptop on the dresser. Now he keeps himself busy mostly ignoring us.

I set up the kitchen on a pull out desk. Now I can kind of prepare food again! We treat tranced about making buttered noodles. It will be wonderful to make actual meals again, even as the yutes' short order cook.
At least we have hot water!
Duchess still screams at the other cats now and then, but they do snuggle and play games like chase me, hide and seek, give me that toy, get off the scratch box or imma get you, the classics.

It's silly, but I cried a little, missing Happy, my little deer mouse roommate. I hope he is off doing lovely deer mouse things. He was released after we were already out, since he was still a wild animal, just in protective custody so the cats didn't eat him.
It's been a grind of a few days, and I didn't sleep at all for a couple days. Aaron was ill, but we caught it fast (bladder infection) and he happily avoided hospital time. Joey was also struggling, emotionally. He feels abandoned by family members. It hurts.
I got a bunch of notifications that someone changed my Facebook password, and indeed they did! I set to work trying to recover my account. However, the reset password code never works.
I set up a new email as part of a more in depth recovery, and had to send in pictures of my ID. They sent a link to redo the password. Facebook hung up and crashed in the middle of that process.
Didn't work. They sent more codes. Didn't work. Joey tried to recover the account, no dice.
Facebook messenger is my main contact with the outside world.
I do not know what to do next. It's frustrating.
So mostly I've been applying for places through Zillow, reading, and building Minecraft houses when it's my turn to use the Xbox.
The housing coordinator has a house for us to look at tomorrow. Good wishes welcome. Also, Milanos. 😁
