 I made the kids breakfast this morning, and even Aaron couldn't be too grumpy.

One of these breakfasts seems a little smug.

Joey had a rough day again, but it eased up by evening.  I was tired, but that's my usual state.  We'd been woken up by fierce thunder last night, and Aaron was anxious, watching radar on my phone and drinking hot cocoa.

"You know I drinkin' coffee watchin' radar!" he said in his best Dark Helmet voice.

Our groceries look plenty for a hotel kitchenette.

There isn't a lot of space for stacking them.

There will be less space in the next room, but the accessible bathroom is beyond a fair trade.

Aaron and I finished watching Aliens for our evening movie, and Scruntie begged for pistachios.

She didn't really want them.
