The problem with the hotel, as wonderful as it is to be inside and out of the weather, is that the days all bleed together.
The main frame of reference I have is how many days we have left here.
7.
Aaron spent the morning playing Halo Wars. I'm grateful he has a way to occupy his mind aside from asking me 200 times a day if I'm finding him a real house.

I message probably an average of 8 people a day. Tomorrow I am going to start doing so through Zillow, using their application process. Credit Karma says my credit is near 700, so I'm doing way better than I assumed, as someone with literally no accounts.
I noticed today how wonderful it is to have hot running water for washing dishes. The dishes get so clean and nice, and my hands don't ache. It's such a gift.
We still have our tent. I just need a place to put it where Aaron can access a bathroom. There's a ten day no-money gap, though. We constantly have our hat out right now, and it is emotionally grueling. I used to be very independent, even for a disabled person.
I feel very shabby and tattered, most days, right now. Like people can look at me and see how I've failed my way right out of society.
But for now, we're sheltered. Joey has his comfy nest.

I'm too old for this shit, friends. My inner Murtaugh is done.
But here we are, still chugging along. To where, God knows.
