We ran out of Aaron's astronaut pants today.  He normally gets them delivered by a local medical supply place, but you have to have a local address for that, so we've been buying them out of pocket.

However, we did get it sorted last week, and the underpants will go to Rundes' house until we're housed.  They won't arrive for a couple days though, so we had to put up the bat signal again.

Halp!

And genuinely lovely people came through.  We haven't survived without help since I fell on my head.

If you don't know why we call them astronaut pants, it's because astronauts wear similar undergarments when they head into space.  Knowing this made it easier for Aaron to transition into them, so they're astronaut pants!

I decided to do a little writing on my Lily book, the fifth book in the Between series.  I set up on the couch (the one we stole the mattress for Joey's nest from).   I had my lap desk, a little table, my kneeps - my giant Peeps I stick under my bum knee when it hurts.  His name is Samuel Peeps.

My laptop, a gift/hand-me-down from a dear friend that is nearly old enough to ride the city bus by itself, but still quite functional and my favorite writing machine, would not come on.

The charger did not light up.

I tried it in other outlets.

No dice.

Ugh.

Such is life, says Duchess.

So instead I hung around with Aaron while he played Halo Wars 2, and waited for his underpants delivery.

Also I noticed I have actual color right now.

I don't generally tan, but apparently constantly reburning has done the trick!

I'm generally so pale that my ex-husband's family, at powwows, would pretend to read by the reflected light of my skin when I went into our tent to change.
