This morning we noticed several little holes in the high traffic area of the floor tent. Luckily I have the technology to fix this.

It's Gorilla tape.
We've been living in this tent for almost an entire month. It has held up amazingly for a little $100 tent. You can see the wear happening on the floor there, but happily we have a tarp beneath us.
And Gorilla tape.
Aaron kept apologizing for the floor, but it's not his fault. If I did this again, I'd probably put an indoor outdoor carpet down to protect the floor.
It was warm and humid out today, but not quite enough for swimming. Aaron and I walked down to the general store to visit his very good friend Denise. Becca left yesterday to head home to Louisiana, so Aaron was feeling a little blue.
Though he hates the tent at times, he also doesn't want to leave the campground.
"We build real house here," he said, and laughed. "It have basement. For tornadoes."
He does call our tent the "good little tent, take good care of us" too. He has complicated feelings about it all.
I meant to do more packing today.

But Pouncy was not much help.
But I tired out fast, multiple times. I got some done, but my big plan, taking down the screen tent, got interrupted by rain.
So we watched Labyrinth and Joey napped. Joey has been a bit under the weather. He has done some arting, preparing for future game streams with his friends.

For DA:I.
Every time they do a stream, he hand draws a thumbnail for it with his and his friends' sonas. For my fellow olds, a sona is a persona/screen identity. I see in these thumbnails - top: Edgar, Wally (Joey), and Eves, and bottom: Silly, Five, Wally, and Edgar again.
So he keeps quietly busy, even here at camp.
Anyway. Nothing to do for the packing but trying again tomorrow.
