I decided to let Aaron sleep in a little, since it was the first morning he had since we arrived.  Joey and I were up at the usual just post-dawn.  I had again forgotten to make my coffee.

Because the younger generation woke up at different times, the morning rush was less dancy.  After Joey and I were back in the tent, I made some apple butter sandwiches.  Despite Aaron's comments a few evenings back.

I don't think a caption could help this story.

As I finished up, we heard a woman's voice outside.

"Hello?"

Rundes had arrived, and I had not put a door knocker up.

We woke a very grumpy Aaron up, zipped Rundes' son in with the Cats of Doom, and headed off to the Cities to do our meeting to fully reinstate our Section 8.

Which took place in a standard bland government meeting room.

The lady helping us was quick, and had us wait there while she printed everything up so we wouldn't have to figure out how to get it mailed to us in our tent.

I took this radiant picture of my sunburn while we waited.

We headed back home, and got pizza in Lindstrom with the last of our last batch of grocery money.

Lindstrom is a very pretty town.  I love it.  Barn quilts and colorful little buildings everywhere.

Back at the tent, after Rundes and son departed, I napped while the youths ate their pizza.  By evening it was lovely and cool, and I decided to try to get a fire going before the rain hit in hopes of having hot tea.

I failed.

No tea for me this evening.  Also, you see that foam cooler in the sun porch?  Some chonkalonka cat sat on it and broke the lid.

No cheese for Aaron.

Then the storm rolled in, and I got us all zipped in.  Aaron and I watched some great British baking while Joey chatted with his friends until the storm passed enough for Aaron to rest.

And I remembered to set up my coffee jar.

Duchess is not impressed with my in-Jean-uity.

And finally, time to read til I fell asleep.  Salt And Broom, by Sharon Lynn Fisher, a retelling of Jane Eyre that I'm not in love with yet.  But it has all right bones, so we'll see.
