Wake up time was 7 AM, after falling asleep around 5, so not a well-slept day. I felt surprisingly functional regardless.
After the bathroom rush, I had my coffee, brewed overnight in a jar. It was not quite hot general store coffee, but it was perfectly adequate.
I tried to stay out of the sun; my burns aren't terribly painful anymore but they are extensive, and deep red in spots.
During cooler parts of the day we opened the porch, and Duchess even took some porch time.

There are no laundry facilities here, and I was pretty sure we were getting stinky, so I hauled our laundry in a Sterilite bin to the VIP bathroom. I filled the bin with hot water and soap, then stomped the crap out of it all like I was making the worst wine.
Then I rinsed and hand-wrung each piece, and hung it all up around the bathroom to dry.
A wonderful person covered groceries, so I ordered those, and got clothespins and more Neosporin. I am always worried about bug bites turning into cellulitis, mostly because that put my middle son in the hospital repeatedly when he had kidney disease from age 9 to about 14.
By then it was past midday and getting hot, so we switched to AC and I tried to nap.

I reorganized all of our clothes. At this point, we could store away everything in Orgalorg and not miss it, so if anyone local wants to visit and has garage space for a few boxes, 4 suitcases, and a plastic bin, hmu.
We didn't do a fire, so we had sandwiches for dinner. I did get a foam cooler, so Aaron finally had the cheese he's been asking about for the last 11 days.
He asked about swimming about 90 times, and I told him tomorrow, but today I was avoiding the sun and basting myself in aloe to try and heal the burns.
He poked me in the burn on my upper arm. "Wike dis one?"
Yes, son. Like that one.
It was a quiet day, but I was still exhausted. We stayed up until 10:30 so Joey could chat with his friends on the threadbare internet here, then we went to bed. Tomorrow is going to start out rainy, then should get hot enough to swim.
